Here are some key points about the IBPS PO Prelims exam pattern:
- The IBPS PO prelims exam is based on MCQs and will be conducted in online mode.
- The IBPS PO Prelims exam consists of three sections, which are: English language, numerical ability, and reasoning ability.
- The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes, and there will be a total of 100 questions for 100 marks
- In the IBPS PO Prelims exam, there will be no sectional cut-off; there will only be one overall cut-off.
- There will be 0.25 marks deducted for every question attempted wrongly by a candidate, and each question carries one mark.
- The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi). A paper written in English must be attempted in English.

Here are some key points about the IBPS PO Mains exam pattern:
- Both objective and descriptive examinations will be conducted online.
- The IBPS PO main exam will be comprised of objective and descriptive sections.
- Also, the IBPS PO objective paper consists of four sections, which are Reasoning and Computer Aptitude; Data Analysis and Interpretation; English Language; and General/Economy/Banking Awareness.
- The objective-type test will have 4 sections worth 200 marks, and the duration of the test will be 3 hours. There will be a time limit for each objective section.
- The descriptive paper consists of two questions.One is easy to write, and one letter is written.
- The duration of the IBPS PO descriptive test will be 30 minutes with 2 questions for 50 marks. It will be an English language test.
- In the IBPS PO exam, there will be no sectional cutoff; there will be only an overall cutoff.
- The question paper will be bilingual (English and Hindi). A paper written in English must be attempted in English.
