The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a nationwide examination in India conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is designed to assess the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in primary and upper primary schools across the country. CTET is held twice a year, typically in July and December.

The CTET examination consists of two papers:

  • Paper-I: This is for candidates aspiring to teach classes I to V (primary level).
  • Paper-II: This is for candidates aiming to teach classes VI to VIII (upper primary level).

The CTET exam is conducted in 2 stages:
