SSC CGL Tier 2 Previous Year Question Paper: The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination, commonly known as SSC CGL, is a national-level examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit staff for various government organizations and departments in Group B and Group C posts.
The SSC CGL Tier 2 Examination is the second stage of the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination. It is conducted in an online mode and consists of four papers – Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3, and Paper 4. Paper 1 is a Quantitative Abilities paper, while Paper 2 is an English Language and Comprehension paper. Paper 3 is a Statistics paper, while Paper 4 is a General Studies (Finance and Economics) paper. The exam is conducted for a time duration of 2 hours for each paper, and the total marks for the exam are 800, with each paper carrying 200 marks. Candidates who clear the Tier 2 Exam are eligible to appear for the Tier 3 Exam, which is a descriptive paper.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern
Here are some important key points about the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam pattern:
- The SSC CGL Tier-2 will consist of objective type,multiple choice questions except for the DEST test.
- The SSC CGL Tier-2 exam will be conducted in 3 phases: Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3.
- Paper-I is compulsory for all the posts.
- Paper-II will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation. - Paper-III will be for only those candidates who apply for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
- The questions will be set in both English and Hindi, except for English Comprehension.
- There will be a 1 mark penalty for each incorrect answer in Paper-I, and a 0.50 mark penalty for each incorrect answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
