Karnataka TET Previous Year Question Paper: KARTET stands for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test. It is a state-level examination conducted by the Karnataka State Government in India. The purpose of the KARTET examination is to determine the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become teachers for classes I to VIII in schools across Karnataka.

Karnataka TET Exam Pattern 

The selection procedure for the Karnataka TET 2023 exams will have two phases.

1. Phase 1: Written Examination
2. Phase 2: Interview

Karnataka TET Paper-I Exam Pattern

4. Subjects: Paper-I consists of five main subjects:

• Child Development and Pedagogy
• Language-I (compulsory, usually Kannada)

• Mathematics
• Environmental Studies

Karnataka TET Paper-II Exam Pattern

1. Purpose: Paper II is for candidates who intend to teach classes VI to VIII (upper primary level).
2. Total Marks: The paper has 150 marks in total.
3. Number of Questions: There are 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
4. Subjects: Paper II comprises four main subjects:

• Child Development and Pedagogy
• Language-I (compulsory, usually Kannada)
• Language II (compulsory, English)
• Either Mathematics and Science (for candidates teaching Mathematics and Science) or Social studies and social science (for candidates teaching Social studies and social science).
